Abstract

Purpose. This research aims to determine the partial influence of training on employee performance; partial influence of career development on employee performance; The simultaneous influence of training and career development on employee performance at PT Fajar Farmatama, South Jakarta.

Methods. The method used is quantitative with an associative approach.

Findings. The research results show a partial influence between training on employee performance at PT Fajar Farmatama, South Jakarta, regression equation Y = 27.716 + 0.554 There is a partial influence between career development on employee performance at PT Fajar Farmatama, South Jakarta, with the regression equation Y = 40.027 + 0.451 There is a simultaneous influence between training and career development on employee performance at PT Fajar Farmatama, South Jakarta, with the regression equation Y = 19.524 + 0.476 (X1) + 0.277 (X2), a correlation coefficient of 0.631, a coefficient of determination R2 of 0.398 and Fcount 22.135> Ftable 3.13.

Implication. The results of the f test obtained Fcount 22.135 > Ftable 3.13, meaning that simultaneously there is a significant influence of training and career development on employee performance and the coefficient of determination is 0.398. This illustrates that the variables training (X1) and career development (X2) have an influence of 39.8% on employee performance (Y), while the remaining 60.2% is influenced by other variables not examined in the research.
